Stress is in the Air or Is it?

Everywhere you turn, stress, stress, stress, foreclosures, banks failing, people out of work, stocks diving…and on and on it goes.
So although most of us have been impacted in some way, are you letting the stress get to you? Are you letting it define you? Is how you’re feeling today directly tied in with how much money you have or what your job is or how your stock portfolio looks?
I have read many great books, gone to many of the rah rah classes and the one thing I know is that if your happiness depends on stuff outside of you then you will always be in a victim place and at the whims of someone, somewhere.
Have you heard someone say “I’ll be happy when…”
“I’ll be happy if….”
Have you ever considered being happy just because… or maybe because you are here, you are you, there is nobody out there just like you….?
If you wait to be happy when, there will always be another obstacle in your path to happiness. How about trying to be happy no matter what…It is a CHOICE…. and then you can get happier still when whatever the “it” is happens….
